Rooftop plaza designed as a series of outdoor spaces for gathering, study, and performance. At the entrance, a brick mosaic incorporates a functioning sundial. The project serves as a memorial to a Tufts student, whose name is embedded within the brickwork in Morse code. Alex’s Place marks Ferrara’s first use of Morse code, a device she continued to use in public works and drawings.
